AegisIn development

An AI assistant that proposes. you decide

Aegis can organize files, draft messages, and prepare calendar work on your computer. Every change is shown for review first, backed up before it runs, and logged so you can see what happened.

What it is

Aegis is built around one rule: the assistant proposes, you decide. File moves, document drafts, and calendar entries are staged before execution. You see what will change, what permission it needs, and what can be restored before anything touches your files.

Not autopilot — nothing runs without your approval. Not a cloud service — your data stays on your machine. Not a black box — every action is logged with the permission it ran under.

Review, audit, and recover — three views onto every action Aegis has proposed or run.

Every action, staged for your approvalAegis proposes; you decide. Nothing moves to your files, inbox, or calendar until you’ve read exactly what it understood and confirmed it.
Capabilities

How Aegis keeps you in control

Six safeguards for useful automation without surprise side effects.

Runs on your machine

Aegis is designed for local work, so your files stay on your computer instead of becoming background context for a cloud service.

Every action staged for approval

Nothing moves to your files, inbox, or calendar until you have reviewed the proposed change and said yes.

Permissions are code, not prompts

Permissions are enforced outside the model. Aegis can request a capability, but it cannot give itself one.

Backed up before it acts

File changes are backed up before execution. If the backup cannot be made, the action does not run.

Deletion starts as quarantine

Files marked for removal move to quarantine first, with a record of what changed and a window to restore them.

One switch stops everything

Safe Mode blocks all writes and sends with a single toggle, persisted across restarts. Flip it and the assistant becomes read-only until you lift it.

How it works

How it works

STEP 01
Aegis proposes

Ask it to organize a folder, draft a message, or dedupe your documents. It stages the action and shows you exactly what it plans to do.

STEP 02
You approve

Review the proposed change — what moves, what permission it needs, what’s been backed up. Confirm and it runs. Discard and nothing moves.

STEP 03
Recover anytime

Every approved action is logged and every mutation is backed up. Roll back a file, a session, or an entire operation from the Recovery Center.

Who it’s for

Who it’s for

Built for people who want AI capability without handing over control.

01
Knowledge workers with sensitive files

Organize research, dedupe contracts, draft outreach — with a full audit trail and the ability to roll back anything the assistant touched.

02
Anyone who wants help, not autonomy handed over

The assistant proposes; you approve. The policy layer enforces your limits in code. No surprise actions, no silent side effects.

03
People who’ve been burned by automation

Safe Mode, never-touch registries, and quarantine-not-delete exist for a reason. You set the floor; Aegis can’t go beneath it.

An assistant that acts without asking is a liability. An assistant that proposes and waits is a tool.
